Parent Workshops & Webinars
Our workshops, seminars and webinars are led by highly skilled and passionate Autism Association staff who have been chosen for their expertise in relevant topic areas and their ability to motivate and inspire others. Our collaborative team is comprised of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Educators and Communication Facilitators from across our services including First Steps for Autism Early Intervention, School Age and Adult Therapy.
Families are meaningfully engaged in all aspects of their child’s therapy program. We acknowledge families as lifelong educators, and provide support and guidance to families to be their child’s advocate and leader. We do this by providing multiple opportunities across a semester for families to engage with learning and peer support.
Our training delivery is flexible with regular scheduled events over the course of the year. We know from experience and consistent feedback from families that our training events enhance parents’ ability to manage the demands of their role more effectively, and with greater insight and confidence.
