We are proud to announce that the Autism Association of WA has been awarded a contract to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia program as an Autism specialist across the Perth metropolitan area and Mandurah.
Replacing the former Disability Employment Services (DES) model, Inclusive Employment Australia, is a national initiative aimed at supporting more Australians with disability into meaningful and sustainable work. With flexible and intensive support options, the Inclusive Employment Australia program offers a more tailored, person-centred approach that responds to each individual’s unique goals.
As one of Australia’s leading specialist Autism providers, we have been providing Autism specialist employment services in Perth for more than 25 years. As the only Autism specialist government contracted Disability Employment Service (DES) provider in Australia, our AIM Employment program is a highly regarded, specialist employment service that focuses on supporting Autistic individuals to secure and maintain open employment.
Through the Inclusive Employment Australia program, we look forward to expanding our employment services, working with West Australian organisations and businesses to establish new employment opportunities and greater inclusion in the workplace, and continuing to increase awareness of the many attributes and considerable value employees with Autism bring to the workplace.

As the current DES program transitions to the new Inclusive Employment program in November 2025, individuals accessing services with the Association will continue to receive supports as usual.
