Zac's Art Receives a Royal Seal of Approval
Zac’s zest for life shines through whether he is spending time with his family and friends, busy at work, or on one of his many creative pursuits as a passionate artist – from painting, pottery, crocheting and sewing to music and more!
Home is where the art is for Zac, with his creations not only decorating his dedicated craft room but also showcased throughout his home. Being surrounded by some of his favourite pieces and people brings Zac and visitors stopping by a lot of joy.
Zac looks forward to his weekly routine of heading to his local arts hub to explore new ideas, test out different mediums, and continue developing his artistic skills. One of his biggest goals for the future is to hold a craft sale, as he builds his collection of unique handmade items.

Putting time – and heart – into his art has led to some amazing and unexpected achievements for Zac. One of his most memorable creative moments came when he painted a family portrait especially for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to celebrate the birth of baby Archie.
After sending his painting all the way to the UK, he was thrilled to receive a letter from Kensington Palace in return. This royal seal of approval thanking him for his thoughtful gift is now proudly framed and displayed in his bedroom.

Zac’s passion for all things art means that when he isn’t getting creative on canvas, he is listening to music and singing.
He attended weekly practice sessions with the Diverse Minds Choir in the lead-up to the Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC 2025) in November and was thrilled to perform at the event for an audience of people from all over the world. The choir’s song choice of Don’t Stop Believing was perfectly suited to his passion and perseverance.
Zac’s determination to make his mark and achieve his goals has also seen him recently recognised with a long service award at his job – acknowledging the commitment, reliability, and positive attitude he has brought to work with him every day for the last 15 years.
This achievement comes as no surprise to the people who know him best.
We can’t wait to see what Zac achieves next as he aims to share more of his art and enthusiasm with the community around Perth and beyond!
